Experience the House Life

In a house of seven labels nobody stays in one lane for long. You will work across studios, markets and shop floors, alongside people who founded the thing they now run. Halden backs the ones who want to build something rather than join something. We hire for range, not for résumé, and we promote from the floor.

We make the same thing many times over before we sell it once. Craft is not a value in this house, it is the schedule that everything else fits.

Every label here is founded in house and stays in house. We do not licence the name out, and we have never once bought a label somebody else started.

The pattern room, the stockroom and the shop floor are where the house is really run. They are also the first place we look whenever a role opens.

The people behind
the seven labels

Everyone at Halden works a week a year on a shop floor, including the people who never otherwise leave the studio. The zine is written in house. The Sunday round is open to anyone in the building. None of it is a perk — it is how seven labels sharing a supply chain avoid turning into one
